Special Opportunity for selected couples Some time ago I became certified to lead the Arts and Science of Love workshop that Drs. John and Julie Gottman created and have led since 1998. So far I have led this workshop with co-leaders in Austin Tx, and will be doing it again in New Mexico next October. From time to time I will be offering a small workshop for interested couples who meet particular criteria as set down by the Gottman Institute. Therefore, his opportunity is not available to everyone. However, if you are interested in coming to an ASL workshop such as is described below of a larger one please call me and find out if you are eligible and find out when there is a workshop you may attend. The Next workshop The Art and Science of Love workshop is a two day workshop that has usually been presented on a weekend, i.e. Saturday and Sunday with two leaders. I would like to offer it to you on two successive Sundays November 9 and November 16. This will be a small workshop of only five couples led by myself with help from Ms. Laurie Simons my wife and will be held at the counseling center where my office is located (8011 118th Ave NE, Kirkland, Wa.). The cost will be $450 per couple (this is $325 off the standard Gottman price). Please call me with your questions. This workshop is an opportunity to commit two full days to your relationship, practice the skills revealed by the Gottman research and to have some intimately fun time with your partner. This is not a group experience where you share with other couples. There are two formal formats 1. lecture and 2. dyadic exercises. The time for each is about equal. All you have to do to register is to call (425-466-5471), leave a message for when we could talk, and then after we talk arrange to send me your fee. That's it! Terry Sterrenberg , MSW is a Washington St. Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 25+ years of counseling experience. Terry is a certified Gottman clinician, Workshop leader and Master Teacher. Laurie Simons will be participating in the role plays. Terry has been working with the Gottman Institute since 1999 when the clinic was formed.
