Terry Sterrenberg and Patty Hollister are pleased to present the original Seattle-based Gottman workshop, The Art and Science of Love. Based on the scientific findings of John Gottman, Ph.D, who studied over 3000 couples in three decades, this workshop is designed to strengthen your relationship. Patty and Terry are both licensed clinicians who have over 50 years of clinical experience between them. They have been personally trained and certified by the Gottmans. Who Should Attend:
Stable couples who want insights to make their relationship great, and distressed couples who want a
road map for repair. This workshop is psycho-educational and is not meant to be therapy.
What You’ll Learn:
How to foster respect and friendship, how to manage and resolve conflict, and how to maintain gains in
your relationship.
Workshop Format:
There is no public disclosure or group work. Couples will have acoustical privacy, and assistance from the
clinical staff with exercises.

Cancellation policy: Full refund minus $50 processing fee if received on or before 10/01/08. After that date, couples
will receive full credit to attend a future workshop.
The Presenters


Terry Sterrenberg , LCSW, is a Washington State Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of
counseling experience helping individuals, and couples. His specialty is enhancing couple relationship and
he has been working with the Gottman Institute as one of their clinicians since 1999 when the clinic was
formed. He is a certified Gottman clinician, Workshop leader, and Master Teacher. .
